I had been to BOW but it was 5 years ago. I decided to try a flight of beers due to the fact that beer was not available when I visited last time. The beer was meh to good. I can say honestly nothing to me was outstanding. What is outstanding about BOW is their space in general. I don't know this for sure but it felt like the space had expanded since I was there last time. It is huge with options to sit inside and/or out with and/or without live music. I was with a group of 6 and we had no issue finding a space to sit and relax. BOW is also very dog friendly (both inside and out). Although I did not bring a dog, I loved seeing everyone else's dogs. In a nutshell, I would highly recommend BOW if you want a tasting experience for a group.

This is such a cool place!! A beautiful location with beautiful views, they offer their own wines and beers. They have comprehensive wine tasting flights for $11 with 6 wines plus goodies not on the menu (I enjoyed a tiny cup of mulled wine on a chilly day recently). They are dog friendly, sell gourmet pizzas on site, have a loft room with amazing views and ample seating, two outdoor patios with live music during good weather on weekends. The staff is knowledgeable and efficient and the wines are very good! I've not tried the beer. If you have the Virginia Wine Pass, they offer discounts on flights. Definitely a fun place to stop and have a flight or glass of wine while enjoying mountain views. They have picnic seating outside as well, and like many Virginia wineries, you can purchase a bottle of their wine and enjoy any food you've brought (no outside wine- state law).

Best winery/brewery ever, in my opinion. The craft beers are all good. Dogs welcome, lots of beer and wine, hand crafted pizza on some days, bands on other days, fire rings, picnic tables, patio seating... It's got it all!

Beautiful winery! I came here once a few years ago as part of a wine tour. I enjoyed it so much then, that I chose to come back years later with my parents for Father's Day. We were able to get a wine tasting at a reasonable rate. It was busy so the wait for wine was a bit long. We also got a beer flight inside their bar that came directly from their own brewery. On site is hand crafted brick oven pizza that was very tasty. There were also so many seating options available. My family and I grabbed a great seat on the back patio with an umbrella. We all had a great day. You are able to bring your own food, but we didn't think to do so. There was also a ton of on site parking.

Beautiful winery! I planned to come here as one of the stops for my bachelorette party. I made a quick and easy phone reservation for wine tasting for 20 people! No deposit was required. As the party bus approached the winery, we were greeted immediately outside by one of the staff members and was asked if we had a tasting. We arrived 30 min early from our reservation (tastings are done at the hour) and was able to start the tasting early which was great! The employees were friendly and the wines were delicious! This place is very dog friendly so I will come back with my fur baby. Overall, very spacious with amble seating. Great thing is you can bring your own outside food.

Most dog-friendly winery I've been to so far! Dogs are allowed inside the tasting room, which I haven't seen anywhere else. I wish I had taken photos inside because they have cute/funny photos of dogs on the wall. They even have doggy fro-yo.

If you are looking for a chill winery, then this is the place. Great ambience and it's kid and pet friendly. You can bring your own snack, however, they also have great pizza. Now to the important part, the wine. The wine is excellent! Both the whites and reds. They have two tasting selections depending on your preference of wines. The also serve beer, however, I can't comment about it as I don't drink beer. Today they also had sangria (perfect as it was a very hot day) and it was so good and refreshing. Another nice thing about this winery is that they always have events going on. Today there was live music and they were also serving raw and charbroiled oysters, which were absolutely tasty. And lastly, they had a pop up dessert shop selling macaroons and pastries. Of course I had a chocolate eclair. I highly recommend this winery!

I love this place, bring the family, the dog, and enjoy great beer, wine & sangria. Bring a picnic lunch or order something from the brick oven pizzeria. Live music on weekends and always hopping! Just a great time every visit.
