A Joyful Anniversary.

I wept with joy several times yesterday (I'm writing this on Thursday over a glass of fine and now very rare) BOW Cabernet Franc. It was our ninth wedding anniversary. I thanked Sharon for each day and apologized for the first seven years. She smiled which made me cry. So did she and we laughed and cried together.
Our deepest thanks to Kate Marterella, Pamela Zacha, Altrovese, and Anne Glass for the extraordinary gift of a private sunset gourmet dinner for two on the patio at Martarella Winery. It...was...perfection...and so, so wonderful! So kind! We were simply transported and it has been so long since we got such a nice break. Before we began this amazing journey Sharon and I imagined a future full of new, extraordinary, and dear friends. The crystal ball did not lie!
As I write I'm listening to a simply amazing music mash-up of 8 different songs that have been blended perfectly into one amazing -and rueful love song. So this is one of our favorite weekends. It is the Stomp and Chomp. The name alone says it all: "Stomp"..."and"..."Chomp". Stomp and Chomp. StomP AnD ChomP! It is really simple. We are living the dream this weekend. All of us. Together.
